SYN-PIC RIDING SCHOOL is a small, private operation located in western Goochland County, Virginia, near Interstate 64, and mid-way between Richmond and Charlottesville.

Syndi Pickney-Blunk is the owner/operator. She has over 40 years of being around horses, over 35 years of competition, and over 30 years of teaching/training experience. Syndi is a Certified Instructor (Certified Horsemanship Association) in Hunt Seat and Western, although she mainly teaches and competes in hunter/jumper shows.
She has experience riding/showing many different breeds and several disciplines, but is currently competing in Virginia Horse Shows Association "Associate" shows along with her students. Syndi has also judged shows and worked with physically and mentally challenged riders, but is not a Hippotherapist.
Syndi tells her students that "Anyone can ride a horse, but not everyone can be a RIDER." With that, she tries to make RIDERS. Her students have a lot of fun while at SYN-PIC RIDING SCHOOL.
Syndi and her students have won many Championship and Reserve Championship awards, along with Year End Series High Point Awards in VHSA Associate shows. Non-showing students can attend shows as "helpers", if they wish - but some students ride only for fun and are not interested in showing, and that's not a problem.
